Porcupine Balls



  • Ground Beef 2 lbs
  • Egg 1
  • Milk 1/2 C
  • Rice 2/3 C
  • Chili powder 1 tsp
  • Salt 2 tsp


  • Tomatoe Sauce ~4 oz
  • Canned Tomato 2.5 C
  • Water 2.5 C
  • Chopped Onion 1 Medium sized
  • Chili Powder 2 tsp
  • Salt 1 tspn

Cooking Instructions:

Mix Meatball ingredients and form into ~1.5” balls. Brown in skillet and remove to drain.

In dutch overn or pot, cook off onion until it begins to become translucent. Add the rest of the ingredients and bring to boil Reduce to simmer and add meatballs. Cook on simmer until tomatoes are soft enough to break apart. Can be slow cooked like a stew or chili all day.
