Grandma's Chili


  • Ground Beef 2 lbs
  • Med. Onion 2
  • Canned Tomatoes 2 Cans (1 lb 12 oz each)
  • Kidney Beans 2 Cans (15.5 oz each)
  • Tomatoe Sauce ~8 oz
  • Brown Sugar 1 TblSpoon
  • Chili Powder 2 TblSpoon
  • Salt 2.5 tspn
  • habenero 1
  • Jalepeno 2

Cooking Instructions:

Seed the habenero. Dice habenero, Jalepeno, and onion. In large dutch oven or heavy pot: Cook and stir ground beef and onion until onions begin to go translucent. Add peppers and continue to stir until beef is browned and onions are tender. Add tomatoe sauce and allow to cook for a short time. Stir in tomatoes, liquid from kidney beans, and seasonings. Bring to a boil then reduce heat to simmer. Simmer for 1 hr 15 min stirring occasionally. Stir in beans and simmer for an additional 15 min or until the desired consistancy is reached.
