Peanut Brittle


  • Raw Peanuts 1 Cup
  • Sugar 1.5 Cup
  • White Corn Syrup 3/4 Cup
  • Salt 1/8 tsp
  • Butter 1.5 tsp
  • Vanilla 1.5 tsp
  • Baking Soda 1.5 tsp

Baking Instructions:

Combine peanuts, sugar, corn syrup, and salt in 1.5 qt casserole dish. Microwive on hihg for 7 to 8 minutes, stirring well after 4 minutes. Add butter and fanilla and mix well. Microwave for 1 additional minute. Add baking soda and gently stir until liquid and foamy. Pour mixture onto lightly greased cookie sheet and let cool for 1/2 hour. Break into pieces and store in airtight container
